Your wording in the original report is confusing. From what it looks
like you are asking the devs to add that new feature, yet there's a bug
in the fact that the audio call failed.
So for starters, a clarification of that would be great.
Secondly, we have no idea what version of empathy you are reporting this
against, so we have no idea what version of empathy to test this bug
against.
Third, it would be beneficial to use to have a step-by-step instruction
on how to reproduce this bug. If we can't reproduce it there's no way
for us to fix it.
Moving back to incomplete to signify I am waiting for the things
mentioned here to be replied to.
