[Bug 633403] [NEW] Long timestamps on every facebook message

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: empathy

In Ubuntu 10.10, there are extremely long timestamps on every message
sent. This is very annoying/distracting, taking up almost half of the
available space. See attached screenshot for example. This is a
regression from 10.04. I think in 10.04 there was only a timestamp at
the beginning of each conversation, but I don't remember precisely.

It could be that this is a facebook-only problem. IRC, at least, just
shows HH:MM.
