Hello Omer, I would like to clarify this issue so that you understand
what it is about.

Attached below this comment are two screenshots of account preferences
for the "bonjour/salut/local_xmpp/People Nearby" IM protocol. One of
them is from Pidgin and the other from empathy. Empathy uses your host
name (the name of your computer) while pidgin gives you the choice of
specifying/customizing the hostname.
