Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: empathy
Sometimes (I've noticed it mostly happens when empathy starts on ubuntu
startup) when opening empathy it shows no contacts in a contact list. It
does not show anything with 'Show offline contacts', so I'm sure it's
not that everyone is offline. It also shows my status as empty field
(and changing it doesn't make my contacts appear). The only workaroung
for this is restart empathy. In those cases empathy icon doesn't show up
too, but it may be because I use awn.
