[Bug 384105] My QQ number was disabled because of a pidgin error

Hello Mr. Villavicencio,

Thank you for your email. The problem still exists in Pidgin.

I have created 2 QQ accounts. I use one to test Pidgin so that I won't
loose my main account if something goes wrong.

Most recently, I was using Lucid 32-bit. Pidgin disabled my QQ
immediately after trying to sign on. I signed into Web QQ and
immediately re-enabled my account. Then, I signed onto Gnome Empathy
without any problems.

In any case, Gnome empathy works well for QQ, but Pidgin does not. I
don't know why.

As of today, I am using Maverick. Let me try pidgin for QQ now and see
what I get.

Yeah, same thing in Maverick.

I will be at my computer for the next few hours if you need more
information, I can respond quite quickly during that time.

Again, thank you for your email and I hope that information helps.

Sincerely,

Ben Pinson

I thought the problem with QQ was fixed because QQ worked on Pidgin earlier today, but then I signed back on this evening and I got a message that my QQ had been disabled. QQ used to work all the time from Pidgin. This is really disappointing that it doesn't work anymore.
