Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: empathy

I'm trying to use the indicator applet on Ubuntu 10.10 Release candidate with empathy 2.32.0-0ubuntu2:
- by default, if empathy is running or not, all entries in the indicator applet (available, away, busy, invisible, offline) are greyed out and cannot be selected.
- if i start empathy manually and select `available', the indicator applet is now usable and i can switch between the different statuses, as expected.
- if i go offline (either from within empathy or through the indicator applet) the latter becomes greyed out again and I cannot go back online with it. I find this annoying and inconsistent.

I was expecting to be able to use the indicator applet to go through
offline/online iterations.
