[Bug 577464] [NEW] Empathy freezes computer when opened

Binary package hint: empathy

Empathy freezes computer completely seconds after starting.

There are  not messages in console and I can't switch to consoles with Ctrl-Alt-F1 or do anything.
The computer is completely blocked. 
I don't know how to get more information.

When I installed Karmic I was able to use empathy for a days. Days after this bug appear.
Once I installed Lucid I tried again empathy and it works. Some days after, this bug reappear and now, every time I start Empathy my computer freezes.
