[Bug 575223] [NEW] In group chats, the text input box expands horizontally instead of vertically

Binary package hint: empathy

When my text reaches ~30px of the right-hand side of the text input box,
it expands horizontally. It should expand vertically, just like in one-
to-one chat windows.
