[Bug 573468] [NEW] Empathy does not show the notification area icon

Binary package hint: empathy
Whenever I start empathy, it starts fine. The main windows shows up and
the MeMenu changes to connected but empathy no longer shows its
notification icon. This means I have to open the main menu everytime I
want to open empathy window
