[Bug 542836] Re: facebook chat not working on Empathy in lucid

I'm experiencing this issues in 10.04. Trying to use the "Facebook chat"
account type and providing username and password, Empathy fails to
authenticate. Instead, using the simple "Jabber account" and specifying
full username at chat.facebook.com as username and chat.facebook.com as
server (no SSL) it works fine :/

Maybe something goes wrong in Empathy while setting the missing info.
