i've just logged out - logged back in, running normal basic metacity,
opened up empathy copied and pasted the same conversation to someone
else and the results were the same. I now remember this happening when i
first installed karmic, and it being one of the reasons (along with no
msn file transfer) for me dropping it, and downloading pidgin. That was
on a different computer, within a week of karmic's release.
