Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: empathy

Empathy fails to revoke the online status of any given jabber
connection. I currently have multiple jabber logins with slightly
varying ressources (Telepathy.<multiple hex-digits>) although empathy
hasn't been running for several days. The problem that logins don't time
out may be a problem related to the jabber server rather than empathy,
but I have never before had such a problem, and also do not have this
problem at the moment with "gajim". This does not seem to happen
arbitrarily, as I tried to reproduce it, and it even happens when
empathy disconnects normally (not just on abnormal termination or loss
of net connectivity).

My installation:
Description:	Ubuntu 9.10
Release:	9.10

My empathy version:
2.28.1.1-0ubuntu1 from main packages (karmic)
