[Bug 435835] [NEW] There is no notification area icon for empathy

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: empathy

Empathy's notification area icon cannot be shown. A very thin (maybe
only 1 pixel width?) vertical black line can be seen at the notification
area though. I am not sure it's empathy or not ;) Another note: I am
using metacity with internal compositing mode enabled via gconf key.
