[Bug 428971] [NEW] empathy not working

Binary package hint: empathy

In Ubuntu 9.10 alpha I can not connect to either Yahoo or irc with
empathy.

With irc it just says network error (trying to use freenode).

With Yahoo it never offers to enter the information on my yahoo account.
So I can add yahoo, but not the account information.

irc is not an option in 9.04, but yahoo is working in 9.04.
