Sort of, this is something I would like to see improved for Lucid.  I
think currently Salut is enabled by default if you have set your
personal information (name, etc) up in evolution or gnome-about-me.
Which most people never do, so they have to go into empathy, set it and
enable salut.  It would be nice if it just worked, we could get user
info from what was entered at install time perhaps to populate what
GNOME knows about the user.
