Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: empathy
I called Empathy > Help > Debug. A window "Debug Window" opened. The mouse cursor changed to a vertical arrow pointing to a horizontal area. I can move the cursor. Clicking it on any button does not have an effect. Ctrl+Alt+F1 does not call a virtual console. The only way out was Alt+PrtSc+REISUB.
~$ uname -a; Linux T43 2.6.31-11-generic #36-Ubuntu SMP Fri Sep 25 06:37:51 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux
Empathy 2.28.0-0ubuntu2.
I expected to be able to copy the DEBUG table to a file. Instead, the computer froze with the exception of the cursor.
