Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: empathy

The software was working 100%, but when I tried to send a file to a
friend, my system crashed.

I'm trying to reinstall it in hopes of solving any problem, but nothing
changes. When I open the software, it only display the GUI without any
contact, as if I had not put any User Account on it. I was on the
account options, and found that my Google Talk account was there with
the normal settings.
