Asif, try the following:

$ GABBLE_LOGFILE=/tmp/gabble.log GABBLE_PERSIST=1 GABBLE_DEBUG=all /usr/lib/telepathy/telepathy-gabble &
$ /usr/lib/telepathy/mission-control &
$ EMPATHY_LOGFILE=/tmp/empathy.log EMPATHY_DEBUG=all empathy
