[Bug 382999] [NEW] Empathy contact list does not update

Binary package hint: empathy

Empathy 2.26.1 in Ubuntu Jaunty is unable to update my contact list with
Google Talk. When a person signs in or signs out, Empathy doesn't detect
or display the change. I have tried it with a jabber bot whose presence
I controlled, and while Pidgin showed the bot coming online and going
offline, Empathy did not show any change at all.
