Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: empathy

With the latest karmic updates, when I log to my Gtalk/Jabber account, I
can see myself (the same account) as a connected buddy.

If I start a conversation, then, the conversation frame enters an
infinite loop and it is not possible to close it. You have to exit
Empathy.
