Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: empathy

Every time I write a message in the chat window, I get an error message like this: Error al enviar el mensaje «ñ, á, é, í, ó, ú, ¿»: desconocido.
I think this only happens when I use Spanish characters (encoding utf-8) such as ñ, á, é, í, ó, ú, ¿.
When I do not use these characters, the message is successfully sent.
Does anyone have the same problem?
