[Bug 407957] [NEW] Empathy event sounds interrupt music playback

Binary package hint: empathy

I have empathy configured to play event sounds when buddies come online
and go offline. When I'm playing music with Rhythmbox at the same time
or watch a movie with totem, this sound is interrupted while the event
sound plays.

I tested with the command line tool of libcanberra, and it does not show
this behaviour.

canberra-gtk-play -f ./trash-empty.ogg

Keeps the background music playing.
