[Bug 294992] [NEW] Failed to make SIP test call to 500 at ekiga.net using Empathy

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: empathy

Empathy apparently supports SIP accounts including Ekiga. I am on a
machine with a static IP address, and it allows be to add an account
with my Ekiga username, but then when I attempt to either chat or call
the Ekiga test service (500 at ekiga.net) I don't get through and I don't
get an error message either.

Empathy is not telling me enough about what is going wrong here!
