There is no gossip-telepathy now.

** Summary changed:

- Enable voip (audio/video talk) support in gossip-telepathy
+ Enable voip (audio/video talk) support in empathy

** Description changed:

- Binary package hint: gossip-telepathy
+ Binary package hint: empathy

- Lots of users installs gossip-telepathy because they wanna google talk compatible voice talk through Jabber/XMPP. But unfortunately Ubuntu's gossip-telepathy package doesn't have VOIP support :(
- So, please enable voip (audio/video talk) support in gossip-telepathy - use gossip-telepathy-voip branch (http://www.gnome.org/~rslinckx/darcs/gossip-telepathy-voip ), which soon will be merged to main:
-
- 1) Voip/Video is handled by jingle, meaning jabber-to-jabber (using
- jingle enabled clients) and gtalk/jabber or gtalk only works. Of course
- as more backends support the telepathy media streaming spec, gossip will
- have more and more support for the various protocols
-
- 2) We were hoping to merge this this weekend at fosdem, maybe it won't
- be done, but it should happen soon.
-
- (look at thread http://lists.imendio.com/pipermail/gossip-
- dev/2007-February/009184.html for more info)

** Changed in: gossip-telepathy (Baltix)
