Public bug reported:
this happens in Ubuntu 9.10 64 bit, which I am running in VMWare.
Installed the package from synaptic package manager. all went well,
install finished fine (as far as i know, no error messages popped up
when done).
THis occurs when at the ubuntu gnome graphical login screen I go down
and select under session "Sugar" after doing this and entering correct
user information, it does the loading graphic then loops straight back
to the aforementioned login screen. This only happens with sugar, the
gnome, xterm, and fail safe all worked. If theirs anything else I can
provide please let me know. I would be more than happy to help and
quickly and thoroughly fix this bug so i can see this cool new system.
also if anyone knows how please tell me how to grab some realtime debug
info for the login process, It would probably be helpful.
