Status in “sugar” package in Ubuntu: Invalid

Bug description:
Binary package hint: sugar

The Ubuntu sound sub-system was crashing Sugar a while back. I raised this issue in the forums and it was fixed. Result - no sound in sugar!. Sound should be a unique educational experience. Sound should help kids to learn, giving hints, creating feedback loops and so-on. Where is the sound settings in the control panel? Not there in Hardy.
