Bug description:
Binary package hint: sugar
Browse does not work in Ubuntu Hardy. I can connect to the Internet using the terminal and run a session of lynx but browse does not work. I raised this on the mailing list and was told "Sugar is supposed to be wireless and on a laptop". This really restricts Sugar and there are a lot of kids who would get sugar-ubuntu, if it was on a PC. Surely this is why it is being ported? There should probably be a TCP/IP settings in control panel in which you can choose DHCP server in addition to setting server details. Currently there is no control over what server Sugar is using!!!
Also, no proxy settings in control panel.
Sugar 0.82.9-0ubuntu1~ppa1
Ubuntu Hardy 8.04.3
Expected Network
Got no Network Connectivity, except via terminal
