Per discussion with upstream, the log level setting used by default is
probably verbose enough.

Status in “sugar-0.88” package in Ubuntu: Won't Fix
Bug description:
Binary package hint: sugar-emulator-0.88
Description: Ubuntu maverick (development branch)
Release: 10.10
Package version: 0.88.1-2ubuntu1
Feature Request:
Until maverick is released debugging should be turned on by default. The easiest way to detect this is to test if apport is enabled, as after the release it is disabled by default. This will also allow us to autoenable logging when appropriate.
