Status in “sugar-0.88” package in Ubuntu: New

Bug description:
1) Burned USR-i386-20100823.iso to CD
2) Booted Cd
The only application installed is Read-78 ( possibly in /usr/share/sugar/applications)
3) Used drop down menu in flat listing of applications to delete read-78.

What happened: 
Lost ALL of the ASLO installed .xo file Icons from ring and from flat listing. Only way to start applications is with journal listing.
terminal ls command shows them in /home/(liveuser)/Applications Directory next to Desktop. It may be no link exists to installed .xo Applications directory for the ring generator?
