We are trying to use completely stock Debian packages.  We  have:
1. Created a USR-meta package to store gconf settings.  This will
allow hardware resellers to adopt USR to their machines without
touching the other packages.
2. Most other changes are due to path or version mismatches.
3. All other changes are done in such a way that they can be pushed upstream

We are sitting on the browse and write issues because there are no
good solutions that compile with the three guideline listed above.  I
don't want to diverge with debian unless we have a sane plan in place
for re-merging as soon as possible.
