Where are the roadblocks?

The biggest problems are lack of manpower and lack of experienced
packagers. There are also some issues with upstream Debian which
make it challenging to derive from them.

Alsroot has done some good work at
https://launchpad.net/~alsroot/+archive/sugar-0.86 . I have been using
his sugar packages in 9.10 for the past couple of day. It looks like
the best way forward is to base off of his work.

Over the next couple day I will rebuild his packages and upload them
to the Sugar Team PPA for wider testing.
