** Summary changed:

- Browse fails to connect to internet even though machine is connected
+ [Hardy] Browse fails to connect to internet even though machine is connected

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: sugar

Browse does not work in Ubuntu Hardy. I can connect to the Internet
using the terminal and run a session of lynx but browse does not work. I
raised this on the mailing list and was told "Sugar is supposed to be
wireless and on a laptop". This really restricts Sugar and there are a
lot of kids who would get sugar-ubuntu, if it was on a PC. Surely this
is why it is being ported?

Also, no proxy settings in control panel.
+
+ Sugar 0.82.9-0ubuntu1~ppa1
+
+ Ubuntu Hardy 8.04.3
+
+ Expected Network
+ Got no Network Connectivity, except via terminal

** Tags added: browse hardy
