I believe that the software in those categories has been installed; if I search for "Gimp", for example, I get an entry that states "run gimp",<br></div><div>and clicking on it in fact opens Gimp. But it's not in the menu. I also tried running the meta installer with all it's categories (including the menu item), but it states that everything has been<br></div><div>installed.
