Hi Thomas,

thanks for your response. I do have wineasio installed (actually there are a couple of different versions available and I think I have both a 32-bit and a 64-bit version installed, not by choice but by default). I thought that was exactly the package necessary, and yet Reaper isn't seeing anything. I have read that Reaper 64-bit for linux isn't working correctly, and I tried both 32 and 64-bit but with no luck either way.

As far as the linux version of Reaper goes, I've read that it is being developed, but with limited functionality, such as just the plugins that Reaper provides in their installation.

Hi Brian,
I can't help with FstHost, but I'm also using Reaper in Wine for sound
recording and editing. Have your tried using the WineASIO driver for
your audio device?

You may first have to add the KXStudio repositories and install the
"wineasio" package:

I'm not sure if this is the best way to solve this, but it works for me,
even with software monitoring. If there is a better solution and someone
would weigh in, I would be interested as well. :)
There's apparently also version of Reaper for Linux systems in the
works, but I don't know how stable the current build is or how VSTs work
in that.
Kind regards,
Thomas
