I have recently made a fresh install of Ubuntu Studio 9.10 and tried to get it to work with my EchoAudio 12.<BR>

I have followed the instructions at Ubuntu Studio Preparation ( <a href="https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuStudioPreparation">https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuStudioPreparation</a>) and FireWire Audio in Ubuntu Studio ( <a href="https://help.ubuntu.com/community/FireWire">https://help.ubuntu.com/community/FireWire</a>) and everything checks out correctly.<BR>

However, when I try to start JACK, this is the error message I get:<BR>
