Hello!<br>
<br>
I have jast succefully installed und startet VirtualBox on my
UbuntuStudio.<br>
<br>
This is the Instruction:<br>

<br>
<span class="postbody">"Well, went back to googling and followed a
suggestion to use the binary package from the virtualbox site.
<br>
<br>
My fix was:
<br>
- Use synaptic to uninstall Virtualbox OSE packages from the Ubuntu
Repos.
<br>
- Download and install the Gutsy Deb. (Personal + Eval binary, NOT
OSE)."<br>
<br>
My comment:<br>
<br>
Then you must <br>
1. add you [and root] to </span>“vboxusers”,<br>
2. Automatically load the kernel module:
<p><code>sudo gedit /etc/modules</code></p>
<p>Then add:</p>
<p><code>vboxdrv</code></p>

The -rt kernel will not be providing modules like this. The -rt kernel
is a specialized kernel for multimedia production. If you need
virtual-os modules like this please: sudo apt-get install linux-generic
