Dear community,

this is my first posting here. I would appreciate help either by a pointer (someone else has run into the problem before, I did not yet scan the archive) or by just an answer. I agree, to start with, the above may look a stoopid question, but Nero has got me puzzled.

I downloaded the image from the Swiss mirror on http://www.ubuntustudio.org/downloads , close to 870 or 890 MBytes

Nero 6 (on Win XP, to burn it) then says "Not a DVD image, insert a CD R/RW"
Then it says: "image cannot fit on CD, insert other disc or change compilation"

I stretched the overburn settings in Nero to as far as i dare, but no good. And i am not yet experineced enough to just hack an ISO to make Nero accept it as DVD image.....

I can of course download another iso from another mirror but it takes a while and I expect the same (mirrored..) result.... Time for new tools (which)
? Or can I just FORCE Nero to burn whatever i feed it onto whatever disc i feed it ?

Any help highly appreciated, many thanks, regards,
Willem
