What's going on here is the installer (calamares) is simply trying to load a
.png image. If it's taking that long, then there's only one of two
explanations: you had a bad download of the .iso image or a bad write of the
.iso image to media. A third explanation is that your install media is bad.
Most likely, you need to re-download the .iso image and re-write it to your
USB image. I have tested the image over several machines, including virtual
machines and actual hardware, as have other testers, so this is clearly an
isolated case and there is nothing wrong with the image on the server, which
means there is something wrong with either the image you have or your
hardware.
