[ubuntu-studio-users] Reaper started crashing

Just for the record, if someone else gets the same issue - it's solved.
It was VLC (Reaper uses its libraries).
Removed VLC - it all started to work fine.
Installed VLC - crashes again.
Finally, in Reaper > Options > Preferences > Video/Import/Misc - changed
the Video decoder priority to 'ffmpeg vlc'.
Now the video window seems to have a bit less quality, but the quality of
the exports is unaffected.
