Firefox as well as linux-lowlatency are from the "main" repository, so
they are fully supported by the Ubuntu team. Software from "main" will
come with security updates and commercial technical support is
available from Canonical, see
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Repositories#Main and use
https://packages.ubuntu.com/ to see by what repository the desired
software is provided.
