Only this card could be used in duplex mode, the other card is playback
only. Actually I don't understand "Cannot open PCM device alsa_pcm for
playback", I would expect that no device for "capture", aka "record" aka
"input" could be opened. I suspect that the HDMI devcie is part of
the graphics and suffers from a broken driver.

What qjackctl output do you get if you chose "hw:1"?
