[ubuntu-studio-users] General ("newbie") question about repositories

PS: Ubuntu started to provide snaps, they are independent of shared
dependencies. Some people providing third party repositories install
everything required to the directory /opt, without linking against
shared libraries, especially for audio software this most likely is the
better approach, compared to the snap containers.
