I understand my feedback might be slightly off-topic depending on your
goal, but in case you didn't know ubuntustudio comes with IDJC (Internet
DJ Console), which afaik does everything butt does and some more. :)

It has got much more options, hence setting it up can be a little more
challenging than butt, but feel free to reach out here if you need help
with that.
