[ubuntu-studio-users] Problems with Blender recognizing CUDA-toolkit

Hi there list:
Blender does not recognize my CUDA GPU as a compute device for
rendering. I'm unsure when the problem started, but I think it was with
this bug:

I've tried downgrading from nvidia-331-updates to nvidia-331, and
reinstaling CUDA toolkit, to no avail. I'm unsure of what steps to take
to fix the problem.

I'll apreciate any help or any pointing to the right forum to find an
answer. Thanks in advance.
