i dont see rivendell or rivendell-server in the repositories for ubuntu. i
would test and determine if this issue is indeed with apache or with
rivendell. if the issue is with rivendell, you would need to get support
from where ever you are getting those packages. i would also suggest asking
somewhere like the ubuntu-server support, since, ubuntustudio doesnt ship,
or do anything with apache. we dont test it, or have anything built or
repackaged for it specifically or otherwise. i would test stock apache in
your installation and see that it is working as expected, and move on to
troubleshooting rivendell. a lot of times it can be helpful to just remove
the user config for applications and try relaunching them and letting them
spawn default configs. also, you can launch them from the terminal and get
helpful output. if i read a message about "ports", i usually try and remove
my system's firewall from the equation and test it locally. cheers and good
