Apt-get broken

Tried deleting the problem file. Didn't help, apt-get just found a new
problem file. So I deleted that problem file. And the next. And the
one after that.

It seems like anything ending in /i18n_Translation-en%5fUS/ comes up
with the error /E: The package lists or status file could not be parsed
or opened./

Any ideas on why? Some issue with locale?

Anyway, problem seems to be fixed, the machine is happily churning thru
2 months of missed updates :P

Thanks

And
