[ubuntu-studio-users] Nvidia Drivers and x.org x server

Hi,

You may want to look for your Nvidia model against the version of the
driver to use.

I have a GeForce FX5200 and nvidia-current driver package is NOT suitable
for usage with this card, I had to rollback to nvidia-173 or something like
that.

a reference, it solved my problem (even though I have limited
administration capabilities thru nvidia-settings).
