Hi :)

I'm not sure if it's the same for the Ubuntu Studio installer. There's a
serious issue regarding to accessibility when trying to install Ubuntu.

Any recommendation?

Hello everyone!
I have noticed certain problems with Ubuntu's accessibility (using the live
DVD from 12.04).
For a start, I have heard, that brltty 4.3 had problems with my type of
braille display (Papenmeier EL40S, braille driver pm). In version 4.4 this is
fixed.
Then, I don't get any speech output. You might have a look a your detection
and configuration procedure. I know, tat the talking Arch Linux distribution
had the same problem. My soundcard is an MAudio Delta 1010 LT (ice1712 based).
It's a multichannel card. I don't know, what Chris Brannon from Arch did to
fix it, but he certainly has done so. It would be vry kind, if you were able
to fix this.
If Ubuntu 12.10 doesn't already include BRLTTY 4.4 it would also be good, if
you could consider it. I haven't used it, since people said, that at the
moment there were still so many instabilities and uncertainties, that it
wouldn't be adviseable to do so.
If you need anymore questions, send private mail to me or ask Ralf to
forward something to me.
   Warm regards
          Julien

Regards,
Ralf
