I didn't notice that Xfce's settings manager has got a second power
management for the monitor/display. Now I set up this too, but can't
test it yet.
Settings for the version of Xfce provided by Ubuntu Studio Precise are a
PITA, e.g. gedit on Xfce has got issues with most mono fonts, they don't
have a fixed width.
On Arch Xfce4 and Non-Xfce apps running on Xfce were all right, but
after the last upgrade there are issues too. Xfce was a good replacement
for GNOME2, but I suspect it will become a PITA too.
