I made a liveusb stick with 12.10. It boots fine, but many apps won't run. For example Firefox complains about no profie, Inkscape says it's running with defaults, Ardour/Audacity do nothing. Did some googling to no avail. I'm guessing it's a permissions issue... Regards, Mac
